New York Yankees catcher Russell Martin, who is in his first year playing with the Yankees, already doesn't like the Boston Red Sox. Martin actually said "I hate the Red Sox" (per Marc Carig of The Star-Ledger).
According to The Boston Globe's Amalie Benjamin, Martin also said, "Anything to get the Red Sox out would be awesome for me. I'd love to see them lose." Source
This may add to the rivalry as the Red Sox and Yankees meet up again Friday night at 7pm in New York.
